Real Estate Field Analyst
Real Estate Market Analysts are the backbone of Danter and Associates real estate research, since they gather critical information upon which our analyses are based. Ideal Analysts are inquisitive, detail-oriented, and willing to travel to a different city anywhere in the United States every week. Job responsibilities include gathering data on many types of real estate, including multifamily, single-family, retail, office, lodging, or other assignments necessary. In gathering critical data for our real estate research, the Analyst may be called on to visit an apartment community, conduct interviews with local government officials or real estate agents, or research real estate records at a county courthouse. Analysts with initiative who exibit superior work skills and display exemplary capacity to understand market dynamics will be considered for promotion to Project Director.
Project Director
The Project Director is involved with the real estate research analysis from inception to completion. Project Directors compile and analyze critical field information and write the conclusions for each real estate research analysis. They oversee the Real Estate Market Analysts and Inside Research Assistants in the primary data collection process, identify the necessary secondary data and oversee its collection, and interpret all data. Occasionally, Project Directors may conduct primary research in the field. Ideal Project Directors have an academic background in real estate or urban planning, good people management skills, and the ability to work to deadlines.
Research Assistant
This position is responsible for conducting research activities primarily from Danter and Associates, LLC offices via the Internet and phone as well as internal databases. Ideal candidates will be computer literate and skilled in researching information over the Internet. Interviewing skills, both over the telephone and in person, are critical, as are attention to detail and the ability to work unsupervised. Additional duties include assisting Project Directors in all phases of report preparation. Occasional travel may be required. Ideal candidates will also have above average writing skills. Skills in using Microsoft Office programs are essential.
